I am a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy based in Columbia, SC, though I’m originally from Greenville, SC. I love running, weightlifting, biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wheeling University.
I’ve worked with patients of all ages in various healthcare settings, including pediatrics, youth orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological impairments, balance issues, pre/postpartum care, pelvic floor dysfunction, and sports-related injuries. My advanced certifications include Dry Needling, Running Analysis, Pelvic Floor Therapy, manual therapy, kinesio taping, cupping, and body mechanics, and I’m CPR/AED certified. I prioritize evidence-based practice to ensure my patients receive the best possible care.
My strong background in human movement mechanics and exercise physiology, combined with my experience running six half marathons and a full marathon, allows me to offer effective, personalized care. I became a physical therapist because of my own experience as a high school athlete recovering from an injury. My physical therapist helped me heal physically, mentally, and emotionally, and I strive to do the same for every patient I treat.
